Did you know that when the Krielstone Bearer is disabled by an attack you get to roll tough before using Self Sacrifice?
Applicable rules:
Damage Application
"3. If the damage applied in step 2 fills the last damage box for a model, that model becomes disabled. Resolve effects triggered by the model becoming disabled." (Prime MKII Appendix A, Primal MKII Appendix A)
Tough
When this model is disabled, roll a d6. On a 5 or 6, this model heals 1 damage point, is no longer disabled, and is knocked down.
Self-Sacrifice
If this model is disabled by an enemy attack, you can choose a non-disabled model in this unit within 3" of this model to be destroyed. If another model is destroyed as a result of Self-Sacrifice, this model heals 1 damage point.
Here is a thread in the Privateer Press Rules forum just to further confirm the rules interaction: Exemplar-Errants-self-sacrifice-and-tough
