Did you know? Thresher and Goad

Did you know that an Axer, under control of either version of Hoarluk Doomshaper, who uses thresher can not be Goaded until all attacks from thresher are complete?

Applicable Rules:

Thresher (*Attack)
This model makes one melee attack with this weapon against each model in its LOS and this weapon's melee range.

Tactical Tip: Thresher - The melee attacks are all simultaneous. (Primal MKII p. 112, Forces of Hordes: Trollbloods p.57)

Goad
When a warbeast in this model's battlegroup destroys one or more enemy models with a melee attack during its combat action, immediately after the attack is resolved this model can force the warbeast to advance up to 2".

Here is an infernal ruling on the Privateer Press Rules forum explaining the rules interraction: Hoarluk-Goad-with-Axer-Thresher

A reader made a request that I add a mention to Trampling and goad as well in this article. Since attacks made during a trample are also made simultaneously you would not be allowed to Goad until after all of the attacks are made.

Applicable Rules:

Trample
"...After the model has finished its trample movement, it makes a melee attack roll against each small-based model it contacted. Models hit by a trample attack suffer a damage roll with a POW equal to the current STR of the trampling model." Hordes Primal MK II, p. 56

Thank you, Lubomir Hribik, for the suggestion.
