Applicable rules:
Virtuoso
This model can make melee and ranged attacks during the same combat action. When this model makes its initial attacks, it can make both its initial ranged and melee attacks.
The scenario of forcing the Blitzer to charge, then use it's animus so it doesn't have to make a melee attack then rapid fire d3 shots is widely known. This beast can also make any power attack, like a Trample, and then be forced to make a ranged attack up to the weapon's ROF (1). It can't use Rapid Fire because it will give up it's initial attacks to perform the power attack.
